Sparklean Laundry is an on-demand laundry and dry cleaning service operating across Accra: East Legon, Osu, Cantonments, Tema, Airport Residential, Adenta, and beyond. They offer wash & fold, dry cleaning, and ironing with door-to-door pickup and delivery within 24-48 hours.

They had a real business with hundreds of happy customers. What they didn't have was a real website to match.

The challenge

Five things working
against the business.

Sparklean came to Incep Digital needing more than “a website.” They needed a site that worked the way Accra actually works.

01
No professional online presence
For a service business competing in a city where trust is everything, not having a website was actively costing them business. New customers were researching before booking, and finding nothing was worse than finding a competitor.
02
The customer journey had to fit local behavior
Accra customers book on their phones, during lunch breaks, and most prefer WhatsApp over email. Any booking flow that ignored this reality would fail.
03
Payment had to match how Ghanaians actually pay
Mobile Money (MoMo) isn't optional in Ghana, it's the primary way most consumers pay for services under GH₵ 500. A site that only mentioned "cash or card" would lose bookings.
04
Local trust had to be built from scratch
A new website for a service business has no built-in credibility. Visitors needed to see immediately that Sparklean was legitimate, local, and worth trusting with their clothes.
05
The site had to generate bookings, not just exist
Sparklean didn't need a brochure. They needed a site where the path from "I need laundry done" to "pickup confirmed" was as short as possible.
What we designed and built

Engineered around Accra's
service economy.

Not a generic laundry template. Every decision was made around how Accra customers actually book, pay, and communicate.

Booking system

Two paths. Zero friction.

The hero leads with two CTAs side by side: Book a Pickup and Chat on WhatsApp. The WhatsApp link is pre-filled with the message "Hi Sparklean! I'd like to book a laundry pickup in Accra", so there's zero friction from intention to conversation. This single decision respects how Accra customers actually behave.

Booking flow

A 4-step process that removes booking anxiety.

Book Online or WhatsApp → We Collect From Your Door → Expert Cleaning & Care → Delivered Back Fresh. Each step names specific Accra neighborhoods so visitors from those areas see themselves in the journey before they click anything.

Pricing

Transparent pricing from the first scroll.

Every service block shows a starting price in Ghana Cedis: From GH₵ 5/kg, From GH₵ 20/item, From GH₵ 3/item. No 'request a quote' dead ends. Pricing anxiety is the #1 reason service bookings fail in Ghana, and we removed it from the conversation.

Social proof

Local testimonials that actually convert.

Six customer testimonials, each pinned to a real Accra neighborhood: East Legon, Osu, Cantonments, Tema, Adenta, Airport Residential. Real names. Specific neighborhoods. Specific use cases. This isn't generic 5-star filler, it's geographically targeted credibility.

Design decisions

Details worth noting.

01
Editorial-clean layout
Most laundry websites look the same: stock photos, generic icons, cluttered grids. We went with generous whitespace, clean typography, and real photography to position Sparklean as a premium local service.
02
Dual primary CTAs throughout
Book a Pickup + WhatsApp appears at every decision point. Ready-to-book customers and still-deciding customers each get their preferred route, and the site never forces one path.
03
Local language in microcopy
Neighborhood names, Mobile Money mentioned by its actual name, GH₵ pricing. Details that signal "this site was built for Ghanaians, by someone who knows Ghana."
04
Pricing visible from the homepage
Instead of making visitors click through to a pricing page, starting prices appear inside each service card. Transparency builds trust faster than any testimonial.
