Your team and roles
Finance has four roles. They matter more here than in most apps, because the difference between reading the books and changing them is the whole point.
The roles
/settings- Viewer
- Read only. Can see the books and reports, and change nothing.
- Member
- Records entries: income, expenses, transfers, clients, categories.
- Admin
- Everything a member can do, plus business details, users, roles and recalculating balances.
- Owner
- Full control, including other owners.
Tip: Viewer is the right role for an accountant who needs to look but should not be posting entries.
Inviting someone
/settings- 1Open Settings and find the users section.
- 2Invite by email and choose a role.
- 3They sign in with their Incep Digital account and land in your business.
Note: The app will not let the last owner be removed or demoted, so a business cannot be left with nobody able to manage it.
