Transactions
The transactions screen is income, expenses and transfers together, grouped by day. It is the screen to use when you know roughly when something happened but not what kind of entry it was.
The list
/transactionsRows for a given day sit flush together under a date header. Filter by account, category, type or date range, or search across them.
Transfers
/transactionsA transfer moves money between two of your own accounts. It is deliberately neither income nor expense, so moving cash into the bank does not show up as revenue.
Note: A transfer between accounts in different currencies records the rate used, so both sides reconcile.
