Site and Store Owner guide
This guide is for people running a site on Incep Platform. It covers every area of the admin dashboard, from identity and the storefront to templates, the AI builder, the catalog, checkout, payments, marketing, and day to day operations.
It is written for the owner view. There is no infrastructure or provisioning content here. If you log into your admin to configure and run the site, this is the guide for you.
Not every deployment sells. Ecommerce, bookings and the blog are optional, and the areas you have switched off simply do not appear in your admin. Start with What kind of site is this? if you are not sure which applies to you.
Start at the dashboard
/adminWhen you sign in you land on the command centre. It summarises store performance over the last 7, 30, or 90 days and flags the work waiting across fulfilment, inventory, and content. Use it as the jumping off point into every other area in this guide.
The left sidebar groups the admin by what you are trying to do: builder tools, content, integrations, and store configuration. This guide follows the same shape.
One site per deployment
Your site is a single, self contained deployment. There is no shared super panel across sites. Almost everything you set is saved to one Store record, which keeps configuration in one predictable place.
That record is called Store for historical reasons, but a deployment does not have to sell anything. Ecommerce, bookings and the blog are optional capabilities, and switching selling off turns the same platform into a plain business website. See What kind of site is this?
Most presentation and behaviour settings are stored as configuration blocks on that record, for example the header, checkout, tax and shipping, and SEO defaults. A handful of areas, such as products, orders, menus, discounts, redirects, popups, and webhooks, are their own lists.
How to use this guide
Each page maps to a section of the admin. Every screen lists its admin path so you can open it directly, and where a setting is worth calling out you will find it under its own anchor. The admin screen itself is always the final source of truth for the exact fields available in your version.
- 1Read Roles and feature flags first so you know what your account can change and which features are switched on.
- 2Work top to bottom for a new store, or jump straight to the area you need using the sidebar.
- 3Make one focused change, save it, and check the storefront before moving on.
