SEO and technical

These settings help search engines and other channels understand the store, and keep links working as the catalog changes.

SEO and technical

/admin/store/seo-technicalsaved to seoDefaults, codeInjection

This screen sets how search engines and social platforms see the store, plus a few performance and technical switches. Individual products and pages can still set their own metadata; these are the defaults and site wide options.

Titles and meta
A title format (for example "%s | %store"), a meta description template, and a default social share image for pages without their own.
Structured data
Turn schema markup on or off overall and per type: product, breadcrumb, blog, FAQ, and organization, plus the organization name and logo used in that markup.
Search engine files
Edit the robots.txt content and switch the sitemap on or off. Both are served automatically.
Performance
Lazy load images and minify CSS and JavaScript.
Right to left
Enable RTL layout for right to left languages.
404 page
A custom not found title and message, and whether that page shows products and a search box.
Code injection
Custom scripts injected into the head or body on every page, for verification tags and third party snippets.
Tip: Code injection is the right place for verification tags and third party snippets that need to load on every page. For analytics and pixels, use the Analytics integration instead so they are managed properly.
Default metadata, structured data, and custom head or body code injection.

Redirects

/admin/store/redirectssaved to Redirect

Add URL redirects so links keep working after a migration or a slug change, which preserves traffic and search ranking when a page moves.

Source
The old path that should no longer 404.
Destination
The new URL to send visitors to.
Type
Permanent or temporary, so search engines treat the move correctly.
Point old URLs at new ones after a migration or a slug change.

Internationalisation

/admin/store/internationalisationsaved to i18nConfig, defaultLanguage, defaultCurrency

Run the store in more than one language and currency, and choose where shoppers switch between them. This works together with the default currency and units set in Store Settings.

Supported locales
The languages the store is available in, and which one is the default.
Currency per locale
Map each locale to the currency it should display, so prices show in the right currency for each audience.
Language selector
Where the language switcher appears: the header, the top bar, the footer, or nowhere.
Currency selector
Where the currency switcher appears, using the same placement options.
Languages, locale behaviour, and the default language and currency.

Catalog feeds

/admin/integrations/feedssaved to catalogFeedsConfig

Generate product catalog feeds for external shopping channels. The feed settings live under Integrations, covered in the Integrations page.
