Starting from a template
A template is not a colour scheme. It is a finished site: a homepage, the inner pages that go with it, the type and colour system behind them, and the navigation and footer to match.
Starting from one is almost always faster than starting from an empty canvas, because the hard decisions are already made and consistent with each other.
The template library
/admin/ai-setupTemplates come in families, each built for a kind of business: fashion, furniture, food, electronics, a SaaS product, beauty, wellness, a restaurant, a professional practice, home services, a creator studio, a high density catalogue.
Each family ships more than a homepage. There is an about page, a contact page, and the pages that family actually needs, whether that is a menu, a price list, a fee schedule or a service area page.
What a template covers
- Homepage and inner pages
- Placed as real, editable builder pages rather than a locked theme.
- The design system
- Colours, typography, buttons, cards, spacing and shadows, applied as tokens.
- Navigation and footer
- Populated to match the pages the template creates.
- Product and collection pages
- On a template for a family that sells, the shop and product page are dressed too.
- Its own kind
- A template declares what sort of site it is, so setup knows whether to build a shop at all.
Previewing before you commit
Every template has a preview you can look through before applying it. Previews are visible while you are choosing and are not published on your live site.
After you apply one
/admin/builderEverything a template creates is an ordinary builder page and an ordinary design system. Edit any of it. Nothing is locked, and nothing has to be undone before you can start changing things.
